When someone asks, “Do you want to come around and see my holiday photos?” our hearts may sink. However being polite we nod agreement and fear the coming. Will we possibly have to spend hours looking at photo after photo after photo, few of which really interest us?
My holiday slide show will be different, I want to show you holiday highlights from a variety of holidays in countries I have visited over the years. I promise that there will be no pictures of Aunt Maggie paddling in the sea or dozens of darling little Susan with icecream, swimming, building a sandcastle etc. or even the empty stone wall on which a beautiful bird sat before flying off at the wrong moment. No my photos will show you especially chosen highlights with an interesting story behind them.
If you have a holiday story to tell, you are welcome to do so, too.
